The World Report News Syria Series is the largest single project of World Report News since its days as an academic journal in 2012. Over the course of 2016 we aim to draw attention to the ongoing causes of violence, the triggers for conflict, and, most importantly, available solutions. We aim to answer questions about what different organizations are doing in Syria to try and resolve conflict, what obstacles they're running into, what they've been able to accomplish, and what they envision going forward. We also want to paint a comprehensible picture of the political reality and use that picture to assess which options for peace are realistic and which ones aren't. To do this we will be working with partners and affiliates in governments, aid groups, nonprofits, media organizations, universities, major international bodies like the U.N., and everyday citizens who have important stories to share. The goal of this initiative is to more clearly define what our options are going forward, and how those options might lead us to a more peaceful future.

If you wish to connect and become a part of the initiative, please reach out to us through e-mail and outline your proposed work or cooperation. E-mails may be addressed to Matthew at MRB@WorldReportNews.com
